The Guild — sponsorship

Fund the pipeline. Solve your own shortage.

Every skilled trade company in America is fighting the same labor shortage. The Guild is GetCrew’s answer. Most one-truck tradesmen never hire anyone — not because helpers cost too much, but because becoming an employer means workers’ comp, payroll, and liability they’ve spent years avoiding. The fund pays half an apprentice’s wage; we handle the rest of it. A sponsorship doesn’t rent someone labour for a season — it turns a one-man operation into a shop that can hire, and hire again. Every hour the apprentice works is logged and theirs to carry. That isn’t a donation. It’s workforce infrastructure, built by the companies that need the workforce.

How the Guild actually works

1

A licensed tradesperson takes on an apprentice at half their normal wage.

2

The Guild fund covers the other half — that’s what a sponsorship pays into. GetCrew never holds that money: it sits with a custodian, and it pays apprentice wages and nothing else. Not our salaries, not our costs, not a platform expense with a programme label on it. There is no path from your contribution to our operating account, and there never will be.

3

The apprentice earns their full wage, every time, and GetCrew takes zero fee on any of it.

Why a company sponsors this, not just a philanthropist

A licensed electrician doing high-voltage or data-center work can clear $250K a year — the ceiling is real, the supply isn’t. If your business depends on skilled trades to build or run anything — a factory, a fleet of data centers, a national footprint — the Guild is a direct investment in the exact pipeline your own hiring depends on. It’s not goodwill spend. It’s the same logic as funding a supplier.

Sponsorships are a conversation, not a checkout

A commitment at this level gets structured directly with GetCrew — recognition, reporting on exactly which apprentices it’s funding, and how it fits your own hiring pipeline. Reach out and we’ll set up time to talk.
